We’re growing at Massey’s Roofing! We specialize in residential roofing in the DFW Metroplex and are looking to immediately fill multiple Salesperson positions immediately. We take pride in treating each roofing project as if it were our own and customer service is a top priority for Massey’s. We are searching for someone who has experience in roofing that wants to work for a family-run company or someone looking to start a career in the roofing industry.

We’re not looking for the average salesperson. We’re looking for a highly motivated, confident, hard working and personable salesperson(s) that are able to manage their time and provide our homeowners with the best roofing experience. We inform and guide a homeowner through the roofing process from start to finish.

Salesperson Requirements:

• A person who is a self-starter who has excellent time management and communication skills.
• Sales and/or Roofing experience is a huge plus, but not necessary for the right candidate! If you are willing to learn, we are here to train you!
• Must be able to climb a ladder to a roof.
• Must have a truck or truck-like vehicle.
• Able to generate your own leads on-site in storm-hit neighborhoods, utilizing social media platforms and tapping into your own market/network. Friends, family and satisfied customers make the best referrals to help you grow your business.

Responsibilities for Outside Sales Representatives:

• Seek, qualify, identify and close new sales opportunities (targeted canvassing, referrals, preset leads, networking, social media)
• Conduct exterior property inspection for wind and hail damage
• Measure roof, gutters and identify/count additional roof components
• Diagnose leaks and submit for repair team to resolve
• Meet adjusters on property if working a claim
• Explain roofing process to homeowners
• Convert inspection to claim filed and contract signed
• Review Scope of work summaries and sign contract with homeowners
• Educate homeowners on materials and selecting products from samples
• Collect funds and insurance deductible from homeowner
• Build relationship with homeowners for future roofing needs
• Attend weekly sales/training meetings with manager and team

Qualifications for Outside Sales Representatives

• Previous sales experience/prospecting
• Must have a reliable working vehicle with insurance coverage (truck preferred)
• Self Sufficient and Self Starter. Must be able to work in an independent and team environment.
• Must have a smart phone capable of downloading apps and taking pictures.
• Industry knowledge preferred (not required)
• Must have a valid Driver's license

Pay Structure:

• 1099 position
• Flexible schedule (declare full-time or part-time)
• Commission-based pay on approved sales
• Get paid weekly (get paid when you collect a check)
• Additional bonuses and sales contests (when available)
• Training in office and in the field (on-site)
• Self-Generated leads (primary) with some company issued leads (secondary if available)
• 20,000 to 200,000+ / year (all self-driven and dependent upon work ethic/goals/closing business)
